The Palm Springs Rich People Prom, known officially as the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala, has announced that Bradley Cooper, who filmed some scenes for his rad movie A Star is Born in the Coachella Valley (leading to some unintentional hilarity), will be in attendance at the 2019 event.

Cooper will join previously announced award recipients Melissa McCarthy, Rami Malek, Glenn Close, and Alfonso Cuarón for a night that will include the possibility to get hit on, insulted, or improperly touched by the local media before heading into a room full of Palm Springs wealthiest people and politicians.
The Rich People Prom is made possible thanks in part to a $350,000 donation in materials, supplies, and services every year from the City of Palm Springs – or about the same price as what it costs to run the Buzz Shuttle for an entire year.
