A man was seriously injured in a Palm Desert gated community after being hit by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
Police found the victim after being called to Azzuro Drive inside the Brenna gated community at 2:40 am, according to the Desert Sun.
The man was suffered significant injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Two people were detained by police, and while the incident is still under investigation, authorities are not looking for any additional suspects.
