Mexico has advanced to the round of 16 in the 2018 World Cup and, if the team can advance further, you could be getting a free Bud Light.
The brewer tweeted that if Mexico can beat its “curse of the fifth game” in the soccer tournament by beating the Brazilian national team on Monday, it will help pay for your beers.
The “curse of the fifth game” is a reference to Mexico not advancing past the fifth game since 1994.
The tweet was written as part of the King John Barley and Dilly Dilly marketing campaign and proclaims “such a great victory shall be celebrated by him helping ye pay for thy celebratory Bud Lights.”
