A 24-year-old Florida man was arrested after police say he set his Burger King uniform ablaze upon learning he had been fired.
Upon being let go from the fast food joint, Timothy Alejandro Ortiz walked outside and immediately lit his hat and uniform shirt on into a whopper of a fire in what must have been a flame-broiled rage. This was apparently a no-no, as he was supposed to give the uniform back to the franchise – so much for having it “your way”.
Police say that Ortiz then got into “several arguments with the managers and customers who saw what happened and called the Sheriff’s Office,” but officers arrived too late as Ortiz fled the scene.
He was later arrested at his home and charged with damage to property, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct.
