A Twentynine Palms resident, who told Sheriff’s deputies that their home was broken into Saturday night, alerted those same deputies that someone broke in again on Sunday – but, this time it was to return the stolen goods.
No one is really sure why the burglar had a sudden change of heart. I guess it could have been remorse or maybe they just didn’t like what the stole and figured they would return it like you do with the tacky Christmas sweaters that your mom gets you every year from Stein Mart.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information to call 760-366-4175. Meanwhile, I am asking whoever stole the 30 CDs from my car back in 2005 to hurry up and return them already.
