Homeowners is Salinas were surprised to find a man outside their home early Saturday morning. Even more surprising, video captured him licking their doorbell.
According to KION-TV, 33-year-old Roberto Arroyo lurked outside the house for over three hours. During that time, he appeared to relieve himself outside the home and stole an extension cord from the front yard.
He also decided to taste what had to appear to be a yummy Ring doorbell.
The homeowners were alerted by the movement around their home due to a phone alert. They weren’t home when the man was around, but their children were inside – so they called police, who identified the suspect.
Police are now on the lookout for Arroyo, who could face charges of petty theft and prowling.
