The episode was filmed at El Alisal, the former residence of author and historian Charles F. Lummis. The house has a 30-foot tower and was home to some legendary parties in the early twentieth century.
NBC 4 reports that KCET partnered with the Huell Howser Archives at Chapman University to edit the found footage for broadcast and that the episode is everything fans of Huell hope to see:
If you’re hoping that Huell will stroll the abode, microphone in hand with a single cameraperson in tow, as was his classic style, get excited: That’s how the interview-centered episode will roll.
