[/media-credit]Starbucks has been filling your milk-shake-for-breakfast needs for years, but what about your nighttime desires?
The Starbucks on El Paseo in Palm Desert has posted a notice that they soon will be selling beer and wine (as reported by intrepid Local 2 reporter Brooke Beare):
Starbucks has recently begun adding “Starbucks Evenings” to select stores – where, according to their website, after 4 customers can order a beer or glass of wine “after yoga, by yourself, after a long day or after a great day” – or everyday? They also have a special food menu including truffle mac and cheese, bacon-wrapped dates with balsamic glaze, and truffle popcorn.
Not sure why anyone would ever grab a beer or a cabernet at a Starbucks…but then 30 years ago no one thought anyone would ever pay more than a nickel for coffee, so who knows.
No word yet on the official launch date at The El Paseo location.
