A baby and a stolen vehicle were both recovered in Fontana on Monday less than 30 minutes after the car was stolen from in front of a Fontana Chipotle with the child inside of it.
The vehicle, a 2013 Kia Optima, was left running with the keys in it a little before 2 pm, according to police. A man jumped into the vehicle and took off.

The baby was recovered safely inside the vehicle about 30 minutes later.
A suspect, who has not been named, was also in custody.
