A gang raid in Cathedral City early Thursday morning resulted in five arrests and over a dozen weapons seized.
“Operation Desert Wolf II” was conducted by the Cathedral City Police Department’s Gang Unit at 5:30 am, according to KESQ. Twelve search warrants and probation searches were conducted with the target being members of the Barrio Dream Homes Gang.
Police found thirteen illegal weapons during their searches including rifles, shotguns, revolvers, and semi-automatic handguns as well as ammunition.
Five people were arrested – with KMIR reporting that charges various weapons violations, probation violations, and drug paraphernalia.
