The photo above was captured Saturday night in San Diego of the surprising and mysterious secret missile launch off the coast of California by photographer Jack Fusco. Fusco, who has a host of cool pics on his Instagram, had no idea that his time lapse would include the missile launch – but, luckily for us, it did…because it looks pretty damn cool.

Fusco, like everyone in California and much of the west coast, initially had no idea what was going on with the light in the sky – but, the military would later admit to testing a missile off the coast of California.
