A jury in San Bernardino found Christopher Lee guilty of the murder of Erin Corwin on Thursday.

The jury deliberated for about 2 hours.

Investigators found Corwin’s body on Aug. 16, 2014 in an abandoned mine shaft, near Joshua Tree National Park.
Lee had confessed to killing Corwin during the trial and even went so far as to show how he did it using a life-size doll provided by the prosecution. Lee told the jury he was angry because he believed Corwin, whom he had been having an affair with, had been molesting his daughter.
