A clerk was shot during an armed robbery at a Cathedral City Circle K on Thursday night.
A little after 8 pm, a thief fired at least one round from a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money, reports the Desert Sun. The clerk cooperated and the thief fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The 27-year-old clerk was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to KESQ.
There are not many details about the suspect, other than that it was a male who was wearing dark clothes.
