The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is underway and, while there is always a lot of pub for the music part of the fest, there is not much love for the art. This is a shame as usually it is pretty rad. Check out some of this year’s cool art installations on display at the Empire Polo Fields:

The view of #emptycoachella before the massive crowds came in this morning (when you hear the hum of lawn mowers instead of live music). Yknow, even if Guns N Roses and The Kills and Run the Jewels and A$AP Rocky and Sufjan Stevens(…) weren't playing at #coachella this weekend, I'd still be perfectly content staring at this beautiful and trippy mirror art installation 'Portals' by Phillip Smith III ( 'Katrina Chairs' by Alexandre Arrechea is in the background here).
