After a #Walmartchella day of weirdness and awesomeness, the Coachella campground opened up ahead of schedule on Friday morning – but, it wasn’t easy getting inside.
Campers were excited to hear that the campground opened up a little before midnight, ahead of the 3 am check-in that was announced earlier in the week.
Campers for @coachella already being let into the campgrounds. They opened just before midnight according to #Indio Police. About 3 hours earlier than expected.

The announcement was followed by long lines of cars:
And no one seemed very happy about it:

8 hours waiting around in Indio, and now almost 5 hours in traffic just to get in. After 6 years of going; fuck you @coachella. I’m gonna forced myself to enjoy the weekend (once I get in) but no longer spending tons of money for this shit. #Coachella2018 #coachellacamping

Hopefully some good music and some Shake Shack cheers them up.
