It’s time to check in again on the price that resellers are listing their tickets to the sold out 2018 Coachella Music and Arts Festival and there’s some good news if you are looking to grab tickets – as the prices continue to drop.
Ticket prices on StubHub have been mostly trending down since we started keeping an eye on them on January 6. Below are the lowest listing price as of tickets on January 6 / February 6 / and today (February 26) – with tickets listed for near, or in the case of Weekend Two VIP passes, even below face value:
- Weekend One General Admission: $645 / $599 / $549.49
- Weekend One VIP: $1,150 / $1,299 / $1,169
- Weekend Two General Admission: $514 / $485 / $449.50
- Weekend Two VIP: $1,014 / $956 /$960
The tickets originally sold for a face value of $429 for General Admission and $999 for VIP passes.
And while this isn’t the most scientific way to track overall prices, it does show a downward trend. As for why prices are going down, it could be numerous factors including supply and demand and contest winners selling passes instead of using them.
Coachella Weekend Two is scheduled to be headlined by Beyonce, The Weeknd, and Eminem at the Empire Polo Club in Indio over two weekends, April 13 – 15 & April 20 -22.
For Coachella Valley locals, a sale for those with a Greater Palm Springs Area zip code is traditional held the week leading up to the festival, with passes going for face value. Information about this year’s locals sale has not yet been made available.
