A 35-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after police say he stole beer from the same Coachella convenience store over four dozen times.
An investigation identified Marcus Rodriguez as the suspect in 50 separate thefts of beer from an unnamed Coachella convenience store since March of 2019, according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. A theft-related search warrant was served at a home on Calle Empalme at about 8:45 am and Rodriguez was arrested.
Rodriguez was booked into the Indio jail on suspicion of 50 counts of theft and breaching the terms of his probation and the gang injunction.
