Coachella Valley cannabis group donates over 500 pounds of turkeys to local rescue mission

It’s the season of giving and The Coachella Valley Cannabis Alliance Network announced this week that they donated over 500 pounds of turkey to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission on behalf of the legal cannabis industry.

CVCAN Director of Operations Quentin Dusastre told KMIR he got the idea to donate the turkeys a few weeks ago when he saw a social media post by the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission asking for donated turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner.

According to the group, the donation will be enough to feed over 300 local residents on Thanksgiving.
