While some Coachella Valley cities go out of their way to ban or make life miserable for food trucks (or people under 30), Cathedral City has embraced them.
Sunday, the city hosted the first in their monthly series of gourmet food trucks downtown. First Sunday’s Gourmet Food Truck Fare drew a reported 1,0000 people to Cathedral City to chow down on grub from 4 food trucks which rolled in from all over SoCal.
And the next installment promises to be even bigger as 9 food trucks are expected!
Amazing, a city offers something that residents are clamoring for and they get rewarded with a huge crowd. Well done Cathedral City.
