- As of 3:30 pm Friday, Riverside County officials have confirmed 185 people have tested positive for COVID-19. There have been 8 reported deaths in the county.
- As of 5 pm Thursday, San Bernardino County has confirmed 55 cases of COVID-19. There has been 3 deaths in San Bernardino County.
- In California, there have been over 3,800 confirmed cases and 78 people have died after being infected with COVID-19:

- Officials announced the death of 25-year-old pharmacy tech who had been in self quarantine at a La Quinta home. The person had no underlying health issues, according to health officials, who say that it’s “a deeply saddening reminder that COVID-19 kills the young and healthy too.”

- A physician at Riverside Medical Clinic’s Day Street office has tested positive for coronavirus and health officials are tracking down patients and staff who may be at risk
The physician, who is not being identified, is expected to recover - Health officials have ordered hotels, motels, and other short-term lodging across Riverside County to halt their normal business. “Now isn’t the time to visit Riverside County,” said Dr. Cameron Kaiser. “Slowing the spread of COVID-19 means folks need to stay put in their own neighborhoods. Unless you’ve got nowhere else safe to be, please visit later.”
