Christopher Atkin Henry, 36, and Robyn Nicole Hardy, 35, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and extortion, reports the Daily Press.
Authorities say that the couple demanded money from Henry’s ex-employer or else they would post alleged criminal misconduct about that the victim online. Police say that was followed by a posting on a “well known” social media site for a short period of time saying the victims were running a “sexual predator company.”
“During the course of the investigation, evidence was located directly linking Henry and Hardy to the extortion,” sheriff’s officials said in a release.
