Tuesday was, well, it was gross.
A couple of heat records were set in the valley as a heatwave scorched the desert. Palm Springs saw a high of 122 degrees, a record for this date and just one degree shy of the all-time high.

Meanwhile, Thermal also had a high temperature of 122 degrees. This also set a record for the date, but was four degrees below Thermal’s all-time high.
