Riverside County health officials released new numbers on Monday showing that 50 people in Riverside County have died due to complications from the coronavirus.
The new numbers show that there were nine reported deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. An additional 103 cases of the virus were also reported since Sunday, with the total number of reported people infected in Riverside County now standing at 1,751.
The county also notes that 297 people have recovered form the virus after falling ill to it.
More than half a million people have now been infected nationwide, with 22,859 deaths.
