Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed in the drive-thru of Carls Jr.

The accident happened about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Witnesses told KESQ the driver hit the beam of the drive-thru after mistaking the gas pedal for the brakes.

The injuries were not said to be serious.
