A man sustained major injuries after a crash on the 210 Freeway in Fontana that may have been a result of road rage. The incident was captured on camera by a nearby driver.
“In my opinion, it was a road-rage incident,” Brian Kwong, who captured the crash on his dashcam, told The San Bernardino Sun. “I heard some honking after the Mustang cut the truck off and the truck wasn’t too happy about it. That led to the truck trying to speed pass the other car. I was a little scared because they almost hit me.”
Police were alerted to the crash at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
In the video, you can see the truck speeding and losing control. The vehicle hits a Ford Mustang and then launches over the freeway and into the Rock Honda car dealership – where KTLA reports it landed on a vehicle and damaged 11 others.
Rescue crews rescued the driver of the truck, described as a man in his 50s, who suffered moderate to critical injuries. Family members of the man told The San Bernardino Sun that was “banged up” but would recover.
