Earlier this week, the Miami Herald reported that Creed lead singer Scott Stapp’s wife, ex-Miss USA Jaclyn Stapp, filed for divorce. In the filing, Jaclyn released some recent text messages that she claims to have received from Scott including one involving The Coachella Valley:
“God is also telling me something about Palm Springs and Nashville so there’s a connection somehow. He’s also telling me DEA for some reason.”
What is this “something”? What could the connection be? And why is God speaking to the frontman of one of the shittiest bands of all time?
Note: Yes, we do realize there is also a Palm Springs in Florida – but how are we to know which Palm Springs God was speaking of?
Maybe we can find clues in other alleged text messages from Scott Stapp:
“Florida is not safe. Biological weapons on the way. U have to leave with kids and meet me in Atlanta.”
“I’m coming to get you Satan and children. No mercy. You know how this ends. God created you and now God is ending you.”
“Wells Fargo working out my account problems. I’m out of gas. Haven’t eaten all day. I’m asking if they can spot me $1,000 so I don’t fall over from malnutrition.”
“I wouldn’t doubt it if the CIA is behind Alcoholics Anonymous.”
In a statement, Jaclyn’s attorney, wrote: “This is a very painful and personal matter for Jaclyn and her family.”
Meanwhile, Scott Stapp set out to address the “attacks” on him with a weird 15 minute long Facebook video where he claims that he had money stolen from him and has been living in his truck without the necessary funds for gas or food:
Oh Dammit, during those 15 minutes of watching that video you could have tried to figure out what God’s connection between Palm Springs and Nashville is!!!
