Are you thinking about spending a night or two in the Joshua Tree campground? You should, it’s absolutely beautiful and amazing. But, you will want to do a little planning as camping spaces are limited. To help you out, the folks at Joshua Tree National Park have a handy flowchart to help you decide when its best to go.

Joshua Tree has eight campgrounds with a total of 494 campsites, so yeah, space is limited. They take reservations, but only at two of the campgrounds. The others are on a first-come, first-served.
