McDonald’s will begin phasing out the best drink offered in their soda fountain: Hi-C Orange. Because, clearly, the company either hates you or has just given up at this point.
A letter from corporate about the beverage being dropped first appeared on Reddit and confirmed with Eat This, That that all locations will stop carrying the drink around July.
According to the memo, the awesome orange flavored drink that is the only thing I get when I go to McDonald’s – which is only a couple of times a year and usually only when there is a huge line at In-N-Out or Five Guys is too far away, but that’s besides the point – will be replaced by a new “proprietary” beverage called Sprite TropicBerry, whatever the hell that is.
Judging by the reaction of Twitter, I am not alone in hating this move:
Raise your hand if you feel personally victimized by @McDonalds getting rid of Hi-C Orange… pic.twitter.com/L4Z6DEM3wA

So McDonalds has announced that it will stop offering my favorite drink: Hi-C Orange Lavaburst! What are we going to do without it? Help! pic.twitter.com/3YhbFfu1Pw

McDonald's is getting rid of the orange Hi-C, and I don't like the ugly new uniforms either. I may not every eat at another McDonalds again.
