A 26-year-old Desert Hot Springs man was arrested on Monday after police say he robbed the US Bank in Palm Desert.

Police were called to the bank at about 12:20 pm after they say a man entered the business, told employees he had a gun, and demanded money, according to a news release. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled.

Officers searched th area and observed a vehicle being driven by a man matching the description of the suspect involved in the robbery. The man was pulled over on the Cook Street freeway overpass and the Otis Mixon was arrested for robbery.
