The weird saga of The Palm Springs Dickey’s Barbecue Pit continues, as the restaurant has reopened with new ownership.
Dickey’s opened to much fanfare in February with a Grand Opening, giveaways, and a radio station hanging out in a tent in the parking lot and giving out keychains – but, the honeymoon was short for the restaurant as quickly terrible reviews began popping up on Yelp.
Dickey’s, in The Springs Center on the corner of Ramon and Gene Autry, surprisingly shut down in July as the company looked for a new franchisee for the location.
Well, it looks like someone has been found, as the restaurant has reopened – and, though it is only one Yelp review, so far things look to be going in a better direction for the barbecue joint:
No official word on who the new owner is or what is happening with the La Quinta Dickey’s location.
