While many, many couples decided 12-13-14 was a great day to get married (because it was dammit!), one San Diego couple waited until 12-14-14 – and for good reason: there was a Chargers game in town that day!
Jason Peterson and Danielle “Dani” Darrow are self proclaimed “die hard Chargers fans” who decided to get married in the middle of tailgating at Qualcomm Stadium parking lot on Sunday afternoon.
The bride’s wedding dress was made of several Chargers white jerseys, including Philip Rivers No. 17, while the groom opted for Eric Weddle’s #32. Bridesmaids and groomsman also wore their favorite team’s jersey during the wedding procession.
Unfortunately for the couple, Peyton Manning and The Denver Broncos defeated The Chargers 22-10 after the ceremony.
