A Palm Springs eatery has closed its doors after they say “the wrong people” became involved in the business.
Owner of Dish Creative Cuisine, Joane Garcia-Colson, told the Desert Sun the restaurant closed due to factors she had no control over.
“Sometimes the wrong people become involved in a business that creates more problems than it solves, and creating circumstances that were beyond our control,” Garcia-Colson told the newspaper. “I’m certainly heartbroken that this is the current status and I’m doing everything I can to find a way to reopen.”
Dish closed Thursday, October 26 after a hood and vent issue and has stayed closed since. Garcia-Colson said there is a chance the restaurant could reopen in its current location at a later date.
The restaurant has an average of 4 out 5 stars on Yelp – with reviewers highly reviewing dishes such as cauliflower risotto, shrimp and feta cheese grits, and Cracker Jack ice cream sundae.
