Star Wars: the Force Awakens opens on Thursday night and, if you are one of the lucky ones who has scooped up advance tickets for one of the first screenings, congrats. We all hope you enjoy the film. Also, and this is really important: keep your damn mouth shut about it.
You see, not everyone is going to be able to see the movie the first moment it is released. And, just because you can, it doesn’t mean you can ruin it for everyone else.
If you want to humblebrag about seeing it first, great. Check into the theater. Take a selfie of you dressed like a wookie. You can even post on Facebook how much you liked or hated it. But, and this is important, don’t be an asshole and ruin the movie for everyone by spilling the plot and important details about the flick before we all get a chance to see it.
