Police are investigating after responding to a major hit and run traffic collision on the 10 Freeway that left one motorist unconscious.
The crash happened a little after midnight on Sunday. Officers responded to the crash and found an occupant of a vehicle involved in the collision was unconscious on the shoulder of the freeway, according to a news release. The victim not only sustained significant injuries from a traffic collision but it was also determined that the victim was assaulted resulting in additional wounds.
No other information was provided.
