Philadelphia sports fans are the worst. Already well known for booing Santa Claus, now an Eagles fan has walked off with a Vietnam Veteran’s prosthetic limb.
Sonny Forriest Jr. usually entertains Eagles fans by singing outside of Lincoln Financial Field during home games. He was doing just that on Sunday when, as WPVI reports, a drunk woman just ran off with his leg:
Forriest told police that he took off his leg because it was hurting him. It was on his chair when an intoxicated woman who appeared to be in her 20s grabbed it and ran off. She was dressed like an Eagles fan, Forriest told WPVI.
“She said, ‘I will pay you for it.’ I said, ‘That’s all right, baby, go ahead and have a good time,’ and then she disappeared,” Forriest said.
Luckily, police found the prosthetic leg on a subway train about midnight. No arrests have been made in the case.
