A homeowner in Rancho Santa Fe was awakened just after 1am on May 1st to the sound of a crash in his backyard. When he got outside, he found a new Ferrari hanging on his fence and the driver no where to be found.

Owner of the house Russ Penniman told Fox 5 that after the crash he heard two middle aged gentleman “enjoying the evening, so to speak”, with one telling the other to “get in the car”, then driving away from what was a pretty expensive sports car.

In fact, we know just how expensive – since the price tag was still on it!

And this is not the first time this kind of thing has happened to Penniman’s house! He also had a drunk driver crash a Porsche into his yard a few years back.

Not sure if Penniman will get to keep the car if the fleeing driver does not come back to claim it – but he should, as his neighbors have no business being on the roads.
