High School administrators in Atwater, California are apologizing for what could be quite possibly be the dumbest video ever made.
The video showed Buhach Colony High School administrators pretending to be in combat with students from rival Atwater High (because high schoolers want to see their principal kick ass in a Thor costume?) – and ends with students being “shot” with a fake gun (because that sounds like a brilliant fucking idea).
The video is awful on so many levels:
- High school administrators wear stupid costumes
- “Who Let the Dogs Out” is played as the theme to the rival high school
- A super dumb version of the other school’s mascot is used
- The principal and staff members fight students
- And worst of all, at the end security officer Kathy Cometta murders the rival school’s students with a toy gun
The video was shown to students at a rally (how weird that rally must have been!!) and officials, upon realizing how dumb the video was, have now apologized. Dave Honey, the acting president of the Merced Union High School District board of trustees, said simulating a campus shooting in the video was a “big mistake”.
Gee, you think?
