This is a pretty big election and, if you want your voice to be heard, you must vote. Here’s the info on early voting to those living in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.
Riverside County will have three early voting locations this weekend (Friday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, October 28) in Temecula, Riverside, and at the Westfield Palm Desert Mall.
You can cast a ballot from 10 am to 4 pm each day, then treat yourself to a Cinnabon because democracy and ‘Merica and stuff. The spot will allow you to either vote on an accessible voting unit at the location or just save some postage and drop off your mail-in ballot (2 stamps, USPS? C’mon.).
The early voting is perfect for those who may have to work on Election Day (which should be a day off of work or on a weekend like other countries, but that’s a conversation for another day). It also might be useful for those who might be out of town, are just super forgetful about these types of things, or just want an excuse to get one or seven hot dogs on a stick at the Palm Desert mall.
If this weekend doesn’t work, you can always make the drive out to Riverside and vote any weekday at the thh Registrar of Voters Office at 2724 Gateway Drive, Riverside – but, from what I understand, there is no Auntie Annie’s there, so, yeah.
