An elderly man was found dead on a hiking trail in La Quinta on Saturday.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department received a call about the man being missing at about 1 pm, reports The Desert Sun. The man had gone out hiking earlier in the day.
Authorities went to the trail and found the man’s body. His name has not been released.
