A man robbed the Cathedral City El Pollo Loco at gunpoint on Tuesday night.
Police were called to the fast food franchise at about 8 p.m., reports the Desert Sun. Cops searched the area, but they did not find the robber.
A masked man with a handgun walked into the restaurant and demanded money, say witnesses. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber, is described as a man, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and the mask.
