Eureka! opened their doors in Indian Wells last year and gave the Coachella Valley a much needed craft brew / whiskey / burger hangout. They updated their menu last week with a couple of new new food and drink offerings – one of which really jumps out at you: The Bone Marrow Burger:
The menu lists this burger as featuring bone marrow porcini butter, charbroiled onion, mustard aioli, and over roasted tomato. Knowing that I should try it out for you (you know to make sure it is safe…the sacrifices I make for you). It normally comes with fries, but I opted for Eureka!’s enormous onion rings instead.
This burger is priced a little higher than Eureka!’s other offerings at $16.50, but if you want to splurge on something a little decadent – this burger is worth a extra couple of bucks (hell I got one and split it with my girlfriend, which seemed to work out perfectly). The patty is juicy and the marrow gives this meal a rich, buttery taste which is accented nicely with the onion, mustard, and tomato.
According to the menu, these burgers are limited every day – so probably not best to stumble in at 10:30pm asking for one.
Eureka! is at Cook St. and Highway 111 and has a ton of good craft beers on hand to wash down your tasty burger (the menu recommends a $65 bottle of “Machette” wine, of which my budget did not allow – but hey, if you are a baller, then go crazy and let me know how it works out). If you go during “Hoppy Hour” -you will get a couple bucks off most apps and draft beers.
