A report of shots fired on Wednesday night led to the discovery of evidence of a shooting near Desert Hot Springs.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department were called about 7:46 pm to the area of 20th Avenue and Paintbrush Trail, according to KESQ. There were no victims at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
