Are you looking to buy a failed business in Palm Springs that also suffers from a pretty big image problem (#PouGhazi)? Good news! You can!! And for the low, low price of over three-quarters of a million dollars!!!
The Hacienda Cantina & Beach Club has been listed by Hughes Properties Inc. for $795,000, notes The Desert Sun. And, before you get too excited, that is just for the business and not the property. Yup, the same restaurant that just shut down after only 18 months in business. What a steal!
“This would be only the business,” realtor Robert Hughes told The Desert Sun. He called the space a “Taj Mahal restaurant”, because realtors say shit like that, and he mentioned that you get the liquor license and that the kitchen equipment and furniture are practically new – probably the result of Hacienda opening its doors and then closing down in what seemed almost like the same day.
You can see the flyer for the business listing here – note, the listing directs you to “wwwhaciendacatina.com” (sic) for more information.
So why are the owners of the business selling? According to the listing, it is “other business interests.” Hmmmm…maybe it is because some of you were ruining their fun.
