A fire broke out at a Desert Hot Springs hotel on Monday evening.
10 fire engines responded to the blaze that was reported at 6:15 Monday evening at the hotel, located on Palm Drive.
Commercial Structure Fire – 6:15 pm 10000 blk of Palm Dr, in Desert Hot Springs. 10 ENG, 1 TRK, 3 Chiefs. FFs responded to a 2 story commercial hotel structure with heavy smoke showing. The fire was confined to 1 room. Checking for possible further extension. #SpaIncident

The blaze was extinguished by Cal Fire crews within about 60 minutes.
