63 firefighters were on hand Tuesday to take on a fire that broke out at a Rancho Mirage home.

The blaze was reported on Furman Court at about 12:30 pm, according to Cal Fire. The fire appears to have started from the home’s attic and spread to the adjoining duplex.

One firefighter with non-life threatening injuries was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
