Firefighters responded to a blaze at the site that was once Casey’s Restaurant in Palm Desert on Sunday.
10 engines responded to the blaze a little before noon at the unoccupied building, located south on Avenue of the States and Washington Street.
Smoke could be seen from the blaze throughout Palm Desert and as far away as Indio and La Quinta.
