An investigation is underway as to what caused a fire at the Rodeway Inn hotel in Palm Springs Friday night.
The fire broke out in a room on the second floor about 6 pm. Guests were evacuated as fire crews took on the blaze which spread to the third floor and surrounding rooms. The fire was quickly put out, but four rooms were damaged, reports the Desert Sun.

“All of a sudden I hear police car passing by and they speaking on megaphone something but we couldn’t understand,” Gabriella Ugarkovic, a guest from Canada, told KESQ.
No one was injured in the blaze. Crews are investigating what caused the fire.
