Fire crews take on blaze at La Piñata restaurant in Indio

A fire broke out at La Piñata restaurant in Indio Saturday morning.

Nine engines were on the scene to take on the blaze, which was contained by 10 am.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from throughout Indio.

Highway 111 was closed while 40 firefighters took on the fire.
