They were wrong!
Almost 93,000 pounds(!) of chicken Caesar salad kits sold that are sold at Sam’s Club stores have been recalled because of of possible listeria contamination.
ABC News reports that Daily Chef salad kits were shipped to the warehouse chain for sale in its in-store cafes nationwide. The affected salads come in 11-ounce clear plastic containers with use-by dates through Sept. 17 (side note: 3 week-old-cooked-chicken?).
There have not been any reports of anyone becoming sick due to the recalled product – and there won’t be as long as we all just stick to bread, pasta, and cookies!
