Yes, this time of year is normally pretty damn hot in the Coachella Valley (average high of 108) – but, just in time for the weekend, it is going to be much hotter than that. Anyone know someone with a couch we can all crash on at the beach?
Warmer conditions will develop over SoCal for the second half of the week. Especially inland. pic.twitter.com/IFPJOdFv4r

The forecast calls for high temperatures to peak at 116 on Friday and Saturday, but then will “cool” all the way down to 113 on Sunday. That should be followed by increasing humidity just in time to start next week. Oh joy.
Definitely not a bad time to head west to cool off at the beach…just be sure to make it one that is not closed because of millions of gallons of raw sewage.
